Woman Found Dead In Brooklyn Basement, Police Say
Police found an unidentified woman in an apartment building basement at 225 Parkside Ave. on Monday.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A dead woman was found in a Brooklyn basement Monday afternoon, said police.
Emergency responders discovered the woman lying on the bottom floor of an apartment building at Parkside and Flatbush avenues at about 1:15 p.m., police said.
The woman, who has not yet been identified but appeared to be in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene, said police.

The Medical Examiner’s officer will determine the cause of death and police will continue to investigate.
