Open Houses are one of the best ways for prospective families to get to know how BASIS Independent Brooklyn nurtures students to develop intellectual confidence, strong character, and a lifelong love of learning. Guided by expert teachers, our thoughtfully-designed curriculum comes to life in a warm, welcoming environment across our PreK to Grade 12 classes. Walk through our halls and classrooms at our upcoming Open Houses, meet school leadership, hear from teachers, and get to know our students and parents.
Both our fall Open Houses will be held on Saturday, October 17. Our Lower School campus (PreK to Grade 2) at 405 Gold Street will open its doors at 9 a.m, and our Upper School campus (Grades 3 to 12) at 556 Columbia Street will start the Open House at noon. Families are welcome to attend both. We staggered the times to allow for that option. Click here to register!

Each Open House will last approximately two hours. We welcome you to register and attend even if you are not able to participate in the entire event. Students are encourage to join us, as well.
The events will begin with an introduction and an overview of our school community. You will be able to tour the campus while visiting classrooms with teachers. There will be a parent panel and student ambassadors to share their experiences and answer questions.
