The Downtown Connection Bus Service Adds New Drop-off Spot at South Street

The new stop is located at the front of The Paris Café at 119 South St.

FIDI, NY — The Downtown Connection, the free bus service connecting South Street Seaport to Battery Park City, added a new drop-off-only location at South Street and Peck Slip, Tribeca Trib reports. According to a press release, this new stop is the first addition in seven years and marks the 38th stop along the route.

The new drop-off spot is located at the front of The Paris Café at 119 South St. Riders can then use the stop on Water Street at the intersection of Fulton Streets to board the bus when leaving the Seaport District.

"The ongoing transformation of the Seaport District is exciting," said Downtown Alliance President Jessica Lappin. "We hope that this additional stop will benefit our neighbors and bring greater foot traffic to the Seaport. Whether you're bringing home groceries, headed out for some shopping, going to work, or exploring the deep history of Lower Manhattan, The Downtown Connection can help get you where you're going."
