Italian Hospitality Brand, EVÈNTO, Will Open 1st Flagship Location In Tribeca

TRIBECA, NY — EVENTO, the Italian hospitality and culinary experiences brand founded by Italian-born chef Andrea Belfiore and co-founder Sam Akiba, will open its first Manhattan flagship later this week.

The location will open on Sept. 4 at 75 Murray Street in Tribeca, inside the historic 1857 Bogardus Mansion.

The multi-level destination brings together culinary experiences, private dining and events under one roof. The ground floor will host EVÈNTO’s dedicated event programming, while the second floor will feature Carla Salotto, an intimate, residential-style private dining space for groups of roughly 20 to 40 guests.

A restaurant, Anna, is slated to open in the basement sometime in 2027.

“EVÈNTO has always been about bringing people together. We started with small dinner parties in our apartments, and now having a permanent home and community to share our passion for food and fun with,” co-founder Andrea Belfiore said.

“EVÈNTO has always been about the people, and we’re excited to open a physical space that will encompass everything we can offer."

At the center of EVÈNTO’s offering are hands-on Italian cooking classes led by Belfiore, drawing on his upbringing in Italy’s Marche region and his family’s Sicilian heritage.

Programming includes pizza and pasta parties, gnocchi-making, tortelli workshops and customized culinary experiences for corporate events, private celebrations and smaller gatherings.

Anna, Belfiore’s debut restaurant, will pay tribute to his grandmother and Italian roots.

The 75-seat restaurant will focus on seasonal seafood, Marche-style pastas—including fregnacce, maccheroncini di Campofilone and strozzapreti—meats and other ingredients sourced locally or imported from Italy.

Its intimate, speakeasy-inspired design will preserve original elements of the Bogardus Mansion, including stonework and chandeliers.

The 3,767-square-foot project was designed by Belfiore in collaboration with Milan-based induestudio. The interiors preserve much of the building’s existing character while layering in Italian design details and nostalgic objects, creating what EVÈNTO describes as a distinctly Italian home within a historic Tribeca setting.
