Man Put in Headlock, Robbed on his TriBeCa Street: NYPD
The man was robbed by three strangers on Leonard Street at about 1 a.m. Dec. 22, police said.

TRIBECA, NY — A man was put into a headlock and then robbed by three strangers on Leonard Street in TriBeCa at about 1 a.m. Dec. 22, police said.
The man, 20, was walking towards his apartment on Leonard Street when he was approached by three men on the corner of his block and Broadway, police said.
One of the suspects put the victim in a headlock, while the two others went through his pockets. The three suspects stole his Samsung Galaxy phone and his $150 wallet with about $60 inside, police said.

The suspects fled north on Broadway after the incident, police said. Police described them as men in their early 20s.
