Man Steals Over $4,000 Worth Of Nicorette Gum From Fidi Pharmacy

FIDI, NY — Police are searching for an unknown man who stole over $4,000 worth of Nicorette gum from a Duane Reade in the Finical District last week.

The man walked into the store at 100 Broadway and quickly placed $4,040 worth of Nicorette gum in a blag bag and fled the store, police said.

The thief stole more than 40 packs of the gum, which is used to provide craving relief to help someone quit tobacco.

There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
