Man Tries To Rob A Bank In Tribeca, Police Say
A man walked into a Tribeca bank demanding cash, police said.

TRIBECA, NY — A man walked into a Tribeca bank demanding money from the bank teller on Monday, police said.
The man walked into Capital One Bank, located at 90 West Broadway, about 1 p.m. on Monday, according to police.
He passed a note to the bank teller demanding cash, police said.

Police said the teller walked away and did not return to the window.
The man fled eastbound on Chambers St. without any cash, police said.

He is described as 30- to 35-years-old, 6-feet tall and was last seen wearing a black knit cap, black sunglasses, black gloves, a dark-colored hooded jacket and red sweatpants, police said.
