Momofuku's David Chang to Open New Fuku Restaurant in FiDi
Celebrity chef David Chang is bringing his spicy chicken to Wall Street.

FiDi, NY — David Chang, the founder of the renowned Momofuku restaurant group, plans to open his fifth Fuku restaurant in the FiDi neighborhood, multiple news outlets report. Many believe this new Fuku will put Chang one step closer to launching the restaurants around the U.S.
The FiDi Fuku joint will serve fried chicken, chicken fingers, chili-cheese fries and various chicken sandwiches. New Yorkers went crazy over the Sweet and Spicy Fuku Sandwich Chang introduced to the East Village location in October. Hopefully Chang's cooking up a new sandwich for this location.

The FiDi Fuku is set to open at 110 Wall St. There's no opening date established yet, a rep for the restaurant told Eater. Community Board 1 approved a beer and wine license for the restaurant at a meeting Wednesday, DNAinfo reports.

Chang currently has four New York Fuku locations—midtown, Madison Square Garden, Citi Field and East Village. Reports show Chang plans to open a sit-down restaurant at South Street Seaport's Pier 17, though few details have been released.
