NYPD: $5K Rolex Watch Stolen From Equinox Gym At Brookfield Place

BATTERY PARK CITY, NY — A $5,000 Rolex was stolen from a man's locker at the Equinox gym at Brookfield Place on Dec. 28, police said.

The 39-year-old man left his watch in his locker while he went to work out at about 5:45 p.m., police said. He discovered it was missing when he came back to the gym at 225 Liberty St. to get the watch the next day.

Earlier in December, another man's $10,000 Rolex watch was taken from the same locker room, DNAinfo reports. Police said they're uncertain whether the thefts are connected.
