Suspect Accused Of Groping Woman In NYC Subway Station

NEW YORK CITY — The NYPD are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in a Lower Manhattan subway station last month.

The incident happened at the Rector Street subway station around 1:15 p.m.

A 28-year-old woman was walking down the stairwell when the suspect grabbed her butt and groin, police said.

After being confronted by the victim, the suspect fled on foot out of the station.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect on Thursday.

The suspect was last seen wearing a gray hat, blue pants and blue button shirt.
