1 Hospitalized After Chain-Reaction Crash On Sunrise Highway

GREAT RIVER, NY - Two crashes, including one 4-car crash, were reported on the eastbound Sunrise Highway in Great River Monday morning, according to Suffolk Police.

The first crash was a four-car crash, where a driver rear end another setting of a chain reaction with two other cars.

The crash was reported at 7:30 a.m. by the merge.

Shortly after there was a two car crash in the same vicinity.

There was one very minor injury reported. One woman was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore.
