From East Islip School District: Three talented East Islip High School students – Hailey Cooke, Kerri Davis and Julia Desiderio – were selected as finalists in Photographer’s Forum magazine’s 38th annual College & High School Photography Contest, sponsored by Fujifilm. The winning photos will be published in June in the “Best of College & High School Photography 2018” book. Their work was chosen from more than 12,000 submissions from college and high school students from the United States, Canada and around the world.
“I’m very proud of my students,” said teacher Joy Taylor. “I can’t think of a more deserving group of photographers to be chosen for this honor. It is quite an accomplishment to be selected from such an impressive selection of photos. ”
