Author Gordon Korman Visits RCK Elementary
Gordon Korman recently visited East Islip's Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School.
EAST ISLIP, NY - From East Islip School District: East Islip’s Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School was recently paid a visit by author Gordon Korman, sponsored by the school’s PTA. The Canadian-born Korman has written more than 80 children's and young adult fiction books, including numerous series and the recent stand-alone efforts “Slacker” (2016) and “Restart” (2017), both popular with RCK’s students.
“It was very exciting hearing from an author of books we are all reading,” said Principal Hillary Bromberg.
