Businesses To Offer Discounts For Town's Birthday

TOWN OF ISLIP, NY - Several businesses within the Town of Islip will be offering specials next month in honor of the town's year-long birthday celebration.

Throughout the month of August, restaurants and merchants in Islip, East Islip, Great River, Holbrook and Ronkonkoma will be participating in the celebration.

Customers will find items priced at $16.83 or $3.35, which commemorate 1683, the year the Town received its first patent, or the Town's birthday year, 335.

• Bubba's Burritos (513 Main Street, Islip): $3.35 Montauk Cans, $16.83 Classic Beef Taco Family Pack (6 tacos and 2 fountain drinks).
• Mango Tango (496 Main Street, Islip): $3.35 California Roll, $16.83 Honey Walnut Shrimp and Chicken Dinner.
• The Blue (526 Main Street, Islip): Wednesdays Only: $16.83 Soft Shell Crab dinner special (reservations required).
