At the East Islip High School career exploration program’s annual Catch-A-Career
Breakfast, held on April 29 with the support of the East Islip School-Business Partnership,
25 business professionals in different job fields – including Northwell Health, Zebra
Technologies, Sunrise Counseling Center and the New York Islanders – met both in person
and virtually with 45 students to speak about careers the students were interested in.

β€œWith the help of our School-Business Partnership members, we were able to be
creative and bring our students the same Catch-A-Career experience this year, just COVID-
friendly,” said Bridget Lopiccolo, who developed and organizes Catch-A-Career with fellow
teacher Paul McHugh.
