East Islip Cheerleader Keaney Signs With University Of Delaware
The 2021 cheerleading team captain is a four-year varsity athlete and member of the high school's Foreign Language Honor Society.

East Islip High School senior Julianna Keaney signed a national letter of intent on Feb. 23 to continue her cheerleading career at the University of Delaware in Newark. She received the prestigious Blue Hen Success Grant scholarship from UD, where she plans to major in elementary education.

The 2021 cheerleading team captain for East Islip is a four-year varsity athlete and member of the high school’s Foreign Language Honor Society. Keaney earned All-County and All-Long Island Second Team recognition and has also competed on an All-Star team at Gravity Cheer since she was 9 years old.
