The first project of the year for East Islip High School’s electronic illustration class was to use Google Chrome’s Canvas platform to explore mark-making, a simple program that allows for a wide range of results. After mark-making, each student created a work of art using the tools.

“I am so proud of the students in this class and the fantastic works of art they are able to create, despite our challenges this year,” said teacher Heather Toomey. “They are excited to create and I am so grateful to have them as students.”
