East Islip High School Gymnast Earns Third Place In State
All-County gymnast Cassie Bergin placed third on balance beam at the New York State girls gymnastics championships.
EAST ISLIP, NY - From East Islip School District: East Islip High School freshman and All-County gymnast Cassie Bergin competed in the New York State girls gymnastics championships, held on March 3 at Cold Spring Harbor High School, and placed third on balance beam with a score of 9.55. This was Bergin’s second stint on the state team; she previously was a member of the Section XI state girls gymnastic team as a seventh-grader.
