East Islip High School senior John Walsh signed a national letter of intent on Feb. 23 to play soccer for SUNY Delhi this fall. He plans to study nursing.

An All-League center back, Walsh served as 2020 captain for East Islip’s soccer team. He has also played club soccer for Commack United since 2017, and was a member of East Islip’s varsity tennis team as a sophomore.
