East Islip Middle School Hosts Red Ribbon Week

EAST ISLIP, NY - From East Islip School District: In recognition of the Red Ribbon Week campaign, East Islip Middle School Principal Mark Bernard along with students and staff participated in a week of activities designed to promote drug awareness and prevention. Banners and posters were created under the direction of Frances Weller’s Art and Service Club, and each middle school student pledged to be drug free by completing a contract and signing a “key”. These keys now proudly hang throughout the school building to reinforce the students’ commitment.
