From E. Islip Schools: East Islip High School senior pitcher Matthew McHugh signed a national letter of intent on Jan. 11 to attend St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn. He plans to major in business. A Scholar-Athlete in soccer, McHugh is also a member of the school’s National Honor Society and Foreign Language Honor Society as well as the local Ancient Order of Hibernians organization.
