East Islip School Board Names New President And VP
Zachry and Carpluk were named the East Islip board president and vice president, respectively.
EAST ISLIP, NY - From East Islip School District: Christopher Zachry was chosen as the president of the East Islip Board of Education for the 2018-2019 school year, and William Carpluk as vice president, during the Board’s annual reorganization meeting on July 5. They replace Jessica Carney and Philip Montuori Sr., respectively, who both remain as trustees.
Zachry and Carpluk, both first elected as trustees in 2014, previously served in the same roles as respective president and vice president during 2016-2017.
