East Islip Senior To Play Soccer For Mount Saint Mary

East Islip High School senior Alexis Grippi recently signed a national letter of intent to continue her soccer career this fall at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, where she plans to major in education.
Grippi, a midfielder, played for the EI Lightning Division I travel team. An Honor Society Dual Language member for ASL and Italian, she also was a member of East Islip’s Leaders and Best Buddies school clubs and volunteered for Just For Kicks for four years to help developmentally challenged students play soccer.
