The Class of 2021 hosted a socially distanced fundraiser on Feb. 4 in hopes of adding some personal flair to the Senior Hallway. At the event, each senior was provided with a ceiling tile that they were able to paint and decorate to commemorate their time as a student in East Islip. The students were able to paint together in the cafeteria, listening to music while sharing memories and laughs. The personalized ceiling tiles were then placed in the ceiling of the Senior Hallway.
“We were thrilled to see so many students take part in decorating this hallway and can’t wait to see what else the seniors come up with,” said Marissa Quigley, who serves as senior class adviser along with Kate Boucher.
