East Islip Students Host Annual Food Drive
East Islip High School's STARS club and National Honor Society collected food for the needy during the annual community wide food drive.
EAST ISLIP, NY - From the East Islip School District: Organized and staffed by members of East Islip High School’s STARS club and National Honor Society, the school’s annual community wide food drive for those in need was held on Nov. 16.
“Through our students’ efforts and the generosity of our community, we were able to collect a tremendous amount of food to donate to local churches and food pantries,” said club adviser Nicole Vincenti. “Thank you to all involved in making a difference in our community.”
