“Our musical team this year wanted nothing more than to create an authentic
experience for our students and persevered through each challenge due to COVID
restrictions,” said Dr. Robert Wottawa II, the district’s director of art, ENL, music and world
languages. “This stellar, intimate performance allowed for our students, parents and
teachers to all share in this magical time,” Wottawa said. “Our students were glowing as
they shared their hard work and gifts with each of us. The evening ended with a standing
ovation and an overwhelming feeling of joy and a feeling that we accomplished something
great together. I cannot be prouder of our teachers, and I love how we worked together to
provide this amazing experience for our students. I am truly blessed with an outstanding
team and a community that supports us at each step.”
