Fun With Fire Safety At Timber Point Elementary
Timber Point Elementary School students were treated to a visit from local firefighters for Fire Safety Week.
EAST ISLIP, NY - From the East Islip School District: During Fire Safety Week, students at East Islip’s Timber Point Elementary School were treated to a visit from local firefighters, learning about fire safety and examining the fire trucks. To reinforce fire safety concepts such as stop, drop and roll and crawling under smoke, the students participated all week in a fun obstacle course that also challenged their fitness levels.
