Islip Terrace Woman Caught Driving Drunk On Thanksgiving: Sheriff

The 30-year-old was pulled over after she was seen crossing over the double yellow lines, according to the sheriff's office.

BROOKHAVEN, NY - An Islip Terrace woman was arrested for allegedly driving drunk in Brookhaven early Thanksgiving morning, according to the Suffolk County Sheriff's office.

Jacqueline O’Neill, 30, was pulled over after she was seen driving over the double yellow lines on North Ocean Avenue at about 12:52 a.m., according to the Sheriff's office.

O’Neill "demonstrated clues" while performing standardized field sobriety tests indicating she was intoxicated, the sheriff's office said.

She was arrested and transported to the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Station One for processing after refusing to submit to a chemical breath test three times, according to the sheriff's office.

O’Neill was charged with DWI and crossing over official road markings creating a hazardous condition.
