Students And Alumni Mix It Up At East Islip Volleyball Tournament

From E. Islip Schools: East Islip High School’s varsity girls volleyball team recently hosted the school’s first Alumni Mix and Match Tournament, a friendly competition between current students and alumni. Participants ranged from future members of the graduation Class of 2023 all the way back to alumni from the Class of 2014.

The players tried to spike their way to the grand prize but only two teams reigned victorious. The Palmer Family were named overall tournament winners, with the Snack Pack team earning the team spirit prize. “The Lady Redmen would like to thank everyone for coming out and hope to continue this tradition in the years to come,” said coach Romina Ackley.
