The varsity girls basketball team won four games in five days to go 5-0 as undefeated league champions.

East Islip High School’s varsity girls basketball team won four games in five days to go 5-0 as undefeated league champions. This marked the first time since 2001-2002 that the team – led by coach Mike Petre – has claimed back to back crowns. Additionally, sophomore Sara Simonetti and junior Jessica Peluso were named All-County, Junior Kamilah Pasha was named All-Conference and senior Meghan Garnett was named All-League.
