Voter's Guide: East Islip 2018-19 School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

Residents in the East Islip School District will vote on the district's $117,081,377 proposed budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, May 15.
The proposal calls for a 1.80 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 0.70 percent, which is well below the tax levy cap.
Residents will also have an opportunity to elect two members to the East Islip Board of Education for three-year terms starting on July 1.

Both Jessica Carney and Philip Montuori Sr. are will be running unopposed for re-election.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Early Childhood Center.
