NEW YORK CITY — Police are looking for a suspect who slashed a man on a subway platform in the East Village last month.
The incident happened at a southbound "L" train platform at the 1 Avenue subway station on Aug. 20 around 7:5o p.m.
According to police, the 44-year-old victim and suspect got into an argument on the subway platform
The 44-year-old was slashed in the hand with a sharp object.
The suspect fled the scene after the incident.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment.
The NYPD released images of the wanted suspect on Wednesday.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, dark-colored sneakers, black baseball cap and carrying a black book bag.
