What if exploring death could help us live more fully?

Discover Japanese perspectives on life, death, and remembrance at Memento Mori in NYC, a unique cultural event at RESOBOX East Village.

The opening day invites visitors to explore Japanese funeral traditions and contemporary approaches to mortality through a ceremonial coffin experience, a live calligraphy performance, art, and cultural activities.

Created by YOMI International in collaboration with Death Fes, this two-day event brings Japanese traditions into conversation with contemporary life, encouraging visitors to reflect on what it means to live well and remember those we have lost.

Whether you're curious about Japanese culture, art, or new ways of thinking about life and death, join us for this thought-provoking experience in New York City.
