How can thinking about death change the way we live?
Join us for the second day of Memento Mori in NYC: The Art of Japanese Life and Death, an immersive cultural event exploring mortality, grief, remembrance, and the meaning of life through Japanese traditions and international perspectives.
The day's program includes Zen meditation, storytelling, conversations with death-care practitioners, interactive workshops, and a special experience exploring darkness and our relationship with the unknown. Visitors can also discover art and creative approaches to memorializing life and honoring those who have passed away.
Bringing together voices from different cultures and backgrounds, this event offers a welcoming space to reflect, exchange ideas, and discover new ways of approaching life's most universal experience.
Come with curiosity and leave with a fresh perspective on what it means to live well.
