Fire Hits East Village's Revision Lounge On Ave. B, FDNY Says
One firefighter suffered minor injuries in the East Village fire, an FDNY spokesman said.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — A fire broke out on Avenue B in the East Village injuring one firefighter on Monday afternoon, the Fire Department said.
Firefighters responded to reports of a fire on the first floor of a five-story building at Revision Lounge & Gallery on Ave. B about 2:10 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.
By about 2:45 p.m., firefighters put out the fire, located at 219 Ave. B. between 13th and 14th Sts., a spokesman said.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mount Sinai Beth Israel, a spokesman said.
About 12 units and more than 60 firefighters responded to the Monday afternoon blaze, a spokesman said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
