Man Stole Laptop From Apartment Near Tompkins Square Park: NYPD
Police are searching for a man who stole a MacBook from an apartment building near Tompkins Square Park, according to police.
EAST VILLAGE — Police are searching for a man who stole a laptop from someone's apartment late last month, police said.
Around 2 p.m. on Fri., Jan. 18, police said a man walked into an apartment building near 10th St. and Ave A., which is nearby Tompkins Square Park.
He went up to the fifth floor, according to police.

Police said the man then entered an unlocked apartment and stole an Apple MacBook Pro and its power cord.
Images of the suspect released by the NYPD show a man wearing jeans and a hooded grey sweatshirt underneath a larger dark-colored jacket who was pulling a red bag behind him that appears like a rolling suitcase.
