EAST VILLAGE, NY — A new Long-island inspired restaurant is coming to the East Village sometime this January, Eater New York reports. Out East will have over 100 seats on two-levels, housed at 509 East 6th St. near Avenue A.

Out East is the creation of Tim Meyers, a Charlie Bird alum; Peter Kane, a partner in Stanton Social and Beauty & Essex; and Anthony Serignese, formerly of Stanton Social and Beauty & Essex.

Eater NY reports the new restaurant will be the "preferred downtime destination" of those who want to feel like they're out of the city for a night.
