New Noodle Bar Little Tong Noodle Shop to Open in East Village

EAST VILLAGE, NY — A new rice noodle restaurant dubbed the Little Tong Noodle Shop is gearing up to open on First Avenue at 11th Street. This spot was the former home to the schnitzel sandwiches eatery Schnitz.

Little Tong Noodle Shop will be a "fast casual" rice noodle restaurant. The future owner filled out a questionnaire on file at the CB3 website, which says the eatery will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight every day. The restaurant is also on the January CB3 docket for a beer-wine license, according to EV Grieve.

The restaurant will also have a four-table sidewalk cafe with 12 seats. This will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Patch checked out Little Tong Noodle Shop's Facebook page, but it seems like it hasn't been updated.
