The Standard Hotel Celebrates NY Fashion Week With 3 Days Of Themed Events

NEW YORK CITY —The Standard Hotel in the East Village is bringing together fashion, design, shopping, and art with a weekend lineup celebrating New York Fashion Week.

Beginning on Friday, Sept. 11 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the hotel’s Penthouse will host the RAISEfashion x Refinery29 Fashion Experience.

The event will spotlight independent designers, including Almasika, Campillo, and Diarrablu, giving guests an opportunity to meet brand founders, discover emerging talent, and shop from a curated selection against a Manhattan skyline backdrop.

The programming continues September 12–13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with Nia Thomas Meets Cuna NYC in Cuna’s Private Dining Room.

Mexico City-based designer Nia Thomas will present her expressive handcrafted knitwear and crochet designs, including pieces worn by celebrities such as Bella Hadid, Victoria Monét, and Vanessa Hudgens.

Known for colorful, textural designs inspired by travel, movement, and creative communities, Thomas will bring her distinctive approach to resort dressing to the East Village for the two-day showcase.

Guests can browse and shop her latest collection, with walk-ins welcome.
