Unknown Man Robs East Village Bank: NYPD
Police are searching for a man who robbed the TD Bank at 21 East 1 St.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — Police are searching for a man who stole an undetermined amount of money from an East Village bank on the afternoon of Thursday, Jan. 12.
At about 4:30 p.m., the man (pictured above) walked into the TD Bank at 21 East 1 St. and approached the 24-year-old bank teller, police told Patch.
The man passed a note to the bank teller demanding money, police said. The teller complied and gave the man an undetermined amount before he fled the location on foot.

There were no reported injuries during the incident, police told Patch.
Police described the suspect as a white male, approximately 25-30 years of age. He stands at five-foot-seven and weighs about 170 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a black skull cap, black hoodie and multi-colored sneakers.
