10 Holiday Windows Decorated with the Christmas Spirit
Decorated with loving touches, storefronts invite shoppers in to find the perfect gifts.
Nothing says the holidays more than decorated storefronts and windows glistening with Christmas decorations. Here are just a few that stood out to us, even during the day.Β
1.Β Like most stores,Β Β in Amagansett, the potential presents on the tree help to decorate the windows at Christmas time. Red vases, green ducks, and a sign that wishes all who pass it a "Merry Christmas" represent the colors of the season -- red and green.Β
2.Β Two large evergreen wreaths with large red bows hang on the windows ofΒ in Amagansett. Strands of garlands made of pine needles are strewn below.Β

3.Β Β in East Hampton VillageΒ doesn't have too much candy like you might expect. Instead, there's a fitting miniature white tree, a few games of Candy Land, a cardboard gingerbread house, and some books on candy. Go inside, and it's whole other story . . . candy galore.Β
4.Β in East Hampton is always a crowd-pleaser. Christmas trees with candy canes, overstuffed teddy bears, toy soldiers, and wrapped presents that we all wish were under our own tree, and garland with little red bows.Β

5.Β Did you know it snowed inΒ ? OK, it didn't really, but the storefront looks as if it did. Amongst teddy bears wearing Santa's hat, a colorful Hanukkah menorah, and books, there are flakes of "snow."Β
6.Β Β in East Hampton always offersΒ a pleasing array of colors. Her bright patterns have been made into stockings, seen in her windows. They can of course be stuffed with some of her signature, rollable clothes.Β
7. AtΒ Β there's a Santa in the window, but it's a small bear, dressed in Santa's cloak, holding presents, and looking out onto the beautifully decorated village that caught our attention.Β
8.Β Sag Harbor FireplaceΒ on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike doesn't quite have a store front for window shoppers, so they've decorated their lawn and building. Multicolored icicle lights hang and from windows and the entrance. Β Rudolph and the other reindeer lead a red sleigh on the lawn. Does that make you want to sit by a fire?Β
9. Even at the beach, there's a way to decorate for Christmas. AtΒ Beach Bungalow in Sag Harbor, they went with a white Christmas tree and white birch branches set amongst green pillows, bamboo, and photos of the beach.Β
10. Country Lane in Sag Harbor is a spot where you might find country-chic Christmas decorations. Some cool-looking white Christmas trees, snowmen of all sizes, and a sign that says it all, "Some of my best friends are flakes!" No matter your style, that was funny, no?
