17-Year-Old Pedestrian Injured In Hit-And-Run: Cops

The teen was airlifted after he was struck, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A 17-year-old male from East Hampton was injured in a hit-and-run Tuesday, police said.

According to East Hampton Town Police, the detective division is investigating the incident, which took place at 6:27 p.m. on Queens Ln. The teen was walking northwest on Queens Ln. near Stuarts Ln. when he was stuck from behind by a vehicle; the driver left the scene of the crash, police said.

He was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital via Suffolk County aviation, where he was treated for his injuries and released, police said.
