77th Annual Artist Members Exhibition

Now in its 77th year, the Guild Hall Artist Members Exhibition has often been referred to as the opening of the art season on the East End. Guild Hall’s exhibition is the oldest non-juried museum exhibition on Long Island and one of the few non-juried exhibitions still offered. This lively and vibrant exhibition features works in a variety of media from more than 400 of Guild Hall’s artist members. Awards will be presented at the opening reception. Winner of the Top Honors award receives a solo exhibition in Guild Hall’s Spiga Gallery. Other awards are presented for Best Representational Painting, Best Abstract Painting, Best Sculpture, Best Work on Paper, Best Mixed Media, Best Photograph, Best New Member Artist, and numerous Honorable Mention citations, along with the $250 Catherine and Theo Hios Landscape Award. Marlo Prather, a Curator in the Department of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is the awards juror.

Registration for the 77th Annual Guild Hall Artist Members Exhibition

Registration is online at GuildHall.org. Artists wanting a registration packet via mail must request online or via phone. Deadline for inclusion in checklist is April 20. Registrations submitted after this date will not be included in the Artist Checklist but will still be accepted into the Exhibition. Art work drop off: April 24 & 25 / 10am-4pm.
