Advanced Septic Treatment Information Session Held on East End Friday
Suffolk County officials are heading to the East End to offer info on two newly approved systems for homes, and to answer all questions.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — After much anticipation, Suffolk County has recently approved two advanced septic treatment systems for private homes— and on Friday, officials are heading out to the East End to provide an information session on what's new in advanced onsite wastewater treatment.
The event will take place Friday from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at East Hampton Town Hall's main meeting room, located at 159 Pantigo Road in East Hampton.
Onhand will be Deputy Suffolk County Executive Peter A. Scully and staff from the Suffolk County Department of Health Services, Suffolk County Legislator Bridget Fleming, East End town officials, Joe Densieski of Wastewater Works, Inc., and Tom Montalbine, president of Roman Stone Construction Company.

The presentation will spotlight the county’s ongoing efforts to approve the use of advanced onsite treatment systems. The two companies that offer systems recently been approved by the county for installation at private residences will provide information, town officials said.
County Health Department staff will answer questions about system availability, cost, site requirements, and future plans, and training opportunities for installers.
