• 10 Months After Fashion Designer Found Dead On Montauk Boat, No Update On Investigation, Cause Of Death (patch.com) — Ten months after fashion designer Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra was found dead on a boat off the Montauk Yacht Club, East Hampton Town police and Suffolk County authorities are still releasing no new information. Officials won’t discuss autopsy results or the status of the investigation, leaving her Ireland-based family and local friends in Montauk and East Hampton grieving and searching for answers as they honor her legacy and growing fashion brand.    

• Lawsuit Alleges Energy Storage Center Contaminated Wells (easthamptonstar.com) — Drinking wells near Cove Hollow Road and Montauk Highway in East Hampton have been taken offline after a lawsuit alleged contamination from the East Hampton Energy Storage Center’s 2023 battery fire. Suffolk County and town officials are coordinating free testing for about 30 nearby private wells and say they’ll ensure residents have safe drinking water as investigations continue.
