EAST HAMPTON, NY — 25 years after 9/11 changed the world forever, residents will gather in East Hampton Friday to pay solemn tribute to those who lost their lives.
The East Hampton Town Fire Chiefs Association, along with local fire departments and first responders, is slated to hold its annual service at the memorial outside American Legion Post 419, located at 15 Montauk Highway in Amagansett.
The event takes place at 6 p.m.
"A time to remember. A nation united. A community forever grateful," organizers said.
