ARF Hamptons Hosts Two Free TNR Clinics

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF Hamptons) is pleased to announce two upcoming Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) clinics designed to address the needs of feral cat populations in the Hamptons and Brookhaven communities. These clinics, which will be held on November 9th and November 16th, are aimed at promoting the well-being of feral cats and reducing their overpopulation.

ARF Hamptons, a renowned animal welfare organization, is committed to caring for animals in need, and their TNR clinics provide an essential service for feral cats that might otherwise be left unattended. The clinics will be conducted as follows:
Clinic 1:
Date: Thursday, November 9, 2023
Location: ARF Campus, East Hampton
Time: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Clinic 2:
Date: Thursday, November 16, 2023
Location: ARF Mobile Spay/Neuter Van, Brookhaven
Time: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Participation in the clinics is free of charge, but pre-registration is required. Individuals interested in attending must sign up in advance to secure their spot. It is important to note that each person can register a maximum of three cats.

TNR is a humane and effective approach to managing feral cat populations. This practice helps prevent the suffering of cats, control their numbers, and improve the overall quality of life for feral cats in our communities. By participating in these clinics, individuals contribute to the well-being of these animals and support ARF Hamptons' mission of saving lives.

In addition to providing spaying and neutering services, the clinics will include vaccinations, ear-tipping, and basic medical checks for the participating cats. ARF Hamptons is proud to partner with local veterinarians and volunteers to make these clinics possible.

ARF Hamptons encourages anyone interested in participating in these free TNR clinics to call (631) 537-0400 x202 for more information and to pre-register. Slots are limited, so early registration is recommended to ensure availability.
