Author Talk - Late -- poems by Carole Stone

Join the East Hampton Library as we sit down with author Carole Stone as she discusses her most recent book of poetry, Late. Carole has published three books of poetry and seven chapbooks, among them American Rhapsody, Hurt, The Shadow and Late. Her most recent poems have been published in Slab, Cavewall, Bellevue Literary Review and Blue Fifth Review. Her poems shared second place in The Allen Ginsberg Poetry Contest in 2014 and 2015. Among her honors are three fellowships from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, three National Endowment for the Humanities summer fellowships, a fellowship from the Geraldine Dodge Foundation to the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and a fellowship from Rothermere Institute for American Studies, Oxford University England. Carole is a distinguished Professor of English emerita at Montclair State University where she teaches courses on literature and art at Montclair Adult School. She divides her time between Verona, New Jersey and Springs, NY.
