Bay Street Theater Elects New Board of Trustees Chairman

Congratulations to Steve Todrys!

Bay Street Theater recently announce that Steven Todrys has been elected Chair of the Board of Trustees for the theater’s 25th Anniversary Season.

He will be replacing predecessor Ana Daniel.

Todrys relationship with Bay Street began more than 15 years ago as a subscriber and patron, eventually joining the Board.

Most recently he made his mark as the head of the theater’s Finance and Audit Committee.

“Steve has already proven to be a driving positive force, and he played a key role as chair of our Finance and Audit Committee this past year,” Tracy Mitchell, Bay Street Theater’s Executive Director said. ”His knowledge combined with his extreme enthusiasm for all things ‘Bay Street’ made him the ideal candidate to follow in the footsteps of Ana Daniel who helped to create the theater as its Founding Chair.”

Todrys and his wife Karol live in Manhattan and have a home in Bridgehampton.

They have two sons, a daughter-in-law and two wonderful grandchildren.

He is a Senior Advisor at the investment bank, Evercore Partners, prior to which he was a law partner at Simpson Thacher and Bartlett LLP.

“I am very excited to take on this role beginning with Bay Street’s 25th Anniversary season,” said Todrys said. “We are coming off an exciting and successful 2015 and this year promises to be bigger and better.”
