Bicyclist Hospitalized After Being Hit by Car

The accident occurred in front of the East Hampton Village CVS pharmacy.

A bicyclist was hospitalized after he was hit by a car in front of the CVS pharmacy on 38 Pantigo Lane in East Hampton Village on Sunday afternoon, according to a report in The East Hampton Star.

The bicyclist, an adult male who has not yet been identified, was hit by a car trying to make a left into the parking lot off Gay Lane shortly after 12:30 p.m., according to the report.

Local Police Chief Gerard Larsen told The East Hampton Star that the injuries were non-life threatening, but the man was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, according to the report.
